Mary Boyle was born in Tynagh, County Galway, on 2 Jan 1867.[1] Her parents were Michael Boyle and Mary (Lyons) Boyle. As a young woman, Mary was close to her grandmother; she was with her during her last days and ultimately reported her death in 1888.[2]
Mary married Patrick Walsh, and they had five children: Thomas (1900), Michael (1902), John (1903), Patrick (1905), and Mary (1909).[3][4]
Mary passed away at Derryoober on 8 February 1947.[5] She was 80 years old. She is buried at Douras Graveyard in Woodford.[6]
