Biography
Dorothy Boynton was baptised at Barmston in Yorkshire in February 1623, daughter of Matthew Boynton and his wife, Frances Griffith. [1]
Taking with her £1000 she married widower, John Anlaby of Etton, [1] son of Thomas Anlaby and his second wife, Sarah Cressy. [2] She bore her husband a son, Matthew and a daughter, Elutherea. [2]
