George Isaac Bozarth was born on 23 Apr 1774 in Old Redstone Fort, Ten Mile Creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania, son of John Caleb Bozarth (1743 - 1832) and Charlotte (Ivers) Bozarth (1750 - 1810).

His siblings were:
