Biography

Mark was born in 1740 in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England, son of Francis Beardsley (1716 - 1766) and Ann (Brambley) Beardsley (1721 - 1754). He was christened on 5 November 1740, illegitimate son of Ann Bramley.[1] His parents married on 18 November 1740.[2]

His younger siblings were:

  1. Thomas Beardsley (1741 - 1741)
  2. Francis Beardsley (1743 - <1828)
  3. John Beardsley (<1748 - 1813)
  4. Mary Beardsley (1751 - )
  5. Luke Beardsley (1754 - 1813)

Mark Beardsley married Ann Straw (~26) (1738 - 1824) on 3 Jul 1764 in Ilkeston.[3]

Mark died about 1813 in Ilkeston aged ~72.
