Doreen Johanna Katherine Brennan was born on 14 July 1915 in Northam, Western Australia.^[1]Her father, Tom Brennan, was 30, and her mother, Dora Murphy, was 28.

She married Francis Patrick Carlson in 1936 in the Victoria Plains Dist, Western Australia, Australia.^[2]

Doreen died on 9 August 2002 in Dianella, Western Australia at the age of 87.^[3] She was buried in the Roman Catholic section at Karrakatta Cemetery.^[4]
