Biography
Jean Baptiste Brevelle, son of Jean Baptiste Brevelle and Marie Nanette, was born 1736 in a Caddo Indian Village, His baptism was on 20 May 1736, the Church of St. Francis of Natchitoches. Godparents were Pierre Alorger and M. Douphine. He married Marie Francoise Poissot on 14 July 1760.[1]
He died at age 69 on 25 Apr 1806 at Isle Breville, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. His occupations were listed as Planter and Military Indian Interpreter.
