Biography
William was born and married in Hampshire England, to Mary Ann King. Eight of their 10 children were born in England. The family emigrated in 1836 to Geulph Canada, where William worked as a carpenter. In 1843 they moved to Beloit Wisconsin and in June of 1855 they moved to a farm in Trempealeau Wisconsin.
