George was born in 1827 and baptised on 19 August 1827, son of James Brighty and Ann Banham.
An agricultural labourer in earlier records, George is a butcher in 1891, living with wife, children and grandchildren at Little Fox and Hounds Yard, Norwich.
Children: Rosina (21 in 1891), Edith A. (14). Adopted (grand)children: Edith Eliza (9), Alice Rosina (7), Arthur Henry (5). Also children of his daughter, Rosina (and Richard James Shalders ? Later her husband.) : Elizabeth R. Brighty (later Shalders) 4, and Richard Salem Brighty/ Shalders. (3).
George passed away in Norwich ("Asylum") Admitted 23 July and died 29 September 1897.
