Biography
When James 'Jim' Nathan Brink was born on May 2, 1855, in Platte, Missouri, his father, Elijah, was 32 and his mother, Martha, was 28. He married Mahala 'Haley' Ellen Hopkins (1862–1942) on September 23, 1880, in Jackson, Missouri.[1] They had seven children - at least five boys and 1 girl - but two died before 1900.[2] He died on February 3, 1905, in Weatherby Lake, Missouri, at the age of 49, and was buried there.[3]
