"BROMFIELD.—On the 20th inst., at Birregurra, near Colac, from aneurism of the aorta, after a lingering illness, John Davenport Bromfield, aged 52 ; arrived in the colony 1837 ; eldest son of the late John Davenport Bromfield, formerly of Pershore, Worcestershire, England."[1] buried Colac Cemetery Colac, Colac Otway Shire, Victoria, Australia[2]
