Biography
Alice was the youngest daughter, and co-heir, of Hugh Brooke of Long Ashton. In 1590 she married (as his first wife) Thomas Vatchell of Cannington & Coley Park, Reading, Berks , who died 1638.
Alice and Thomas Vatchell sold their share of Long Ashton manor in 1593 to Mrs. Jane Smith, widow of Matthew Smith, of Long Ashton, Esq.
Alice died before 1600, when Thomas Vatchell married his second wife, Sarah Lane.
