Biography

William N Brooks was born on 13 March 1781 in Bedford, North Carolina, , son of John Royal Brooks III and Lydia (Shackelford) Brooks.[citation needed]

William (~22) married Nancy Sutton (~17) in 1803 in Weakley County, Tennessee.[citation needed] Their children were:

  1. Edmund Brooks
  2. James Russell Brooks
  3. Sarah (Brooks) Casselman
  4. William Sutton Brooks

William died on 31 December 1845 in Martin, Weakley County, Tennessee aged 64.[citation needed]
