Ephraim Huffman Brown was born on September 30, 1836 in Mount Sterling, Switzerland, Indiana, United States, son of Samuel Brown (~1799–1885) and Melinda Hafford (~1805–<1860).[1] Ephraim (28) married Mary Jane Wainscott (20) (born on January 20, 1845 in Jefferson County, Indiana) on July 11, 1865 in Indiana.[2] In 1870, Ephraim (33) [3] In 1880, Ephraim (43) was living in Madison Township, Jefferson. [4] In 1900, Ephriam (63) [5] Ephraim died on November 24, 1914 in Jefferson, aged 78.[6]
