Born March 31, 1986, in Hood, Texas, the daughter of William Lee Brown and Susan Eldora Turner Brown. Married Charlie Forrest Brown on November 10, 1915, in Lafayette Springs, Mississippi. She was a member of West Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Connie Forsyth of Tupelo, Bennie Franklin, May McWhirter and Faye Walton, all of Pontotoc; three sons, Charlie Edwin Brown of Clarksville, Ark., Windham Bolen Brown of Tupelo, Charlie Forrest Brown Jr. of Pontotoc; a sister, Lena Harper of Monroe, La.; a brother, Henry S. Brown of Pontotoc; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Browning Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eudean Tutor officiating.
