Helen F. "Nellie' Brown was born June 1864 in Bolton, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Osgood Brown and Melinda Knowlton. She passed away 2 OCTOBER 1951 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Unmarried.

Newspaper OBITUARY, 3 Oct 1951, Fitchburg Sentinel, Fitchburg, Massachusetts. MISS HELEN F. BROWN. LUNENBURG, Oct 3 -- Miss Helen F. Brown, 90, of Leominster road a retired domestic nurse, died last night in the Wright nursing home in Fitchburg after a long illness. She was born in Canada, a daughter of the late Osgood and Melinda (Knowlton) Brown and had resided here for the past 63 years.

Miss Brown was well known throughout the district as a practical nurse. She was a member of the Methodist church in this town. A brother Winthrop Brown of his town is her only survivor.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 am in the Sawyer funeral home in Fitchburg with burial in Evergreen cemetery, Leominster.
