IGI shows Hannah Brown born 15 Aug 1752, of Oxford, New Haven, CT, died 13 July 1813. Married Gaylord Hawkins Oct. 1779.

1810 census for Franklin, Delaware Co., NY, shows Gaylord Hawkins age 45+ living with a male age 16-25, female age 10-15, 2 females ages 16-25, and a female age 45+ (this must be his wife, Hannah).

1800 census for Chatham, Columbia Co., NY, shows Gaylord Hawkins age 27-45 and other family members.

1798 Oxford incorporated as a city October 1798, prior it was a parish of Derby.
