Biography

Daniel McCurdy Brown was born 12 Mar 1800 in Grand Isle, Vermont. [1]

Marriage

Daniel M. Brown was married to Esther Lyon in South Hero on 7 October 1827. Her father, the Rev. Asa Lyon, officiated at the marriage.[2] Daniel and Esther settled in South Hero, VT and may not have had children.

Death

Daniel drowned while crossing Lake Champlain from Plattsburg 28 May 1849 (aged 48–49) [3] He is buried in Grand Isle Cemetery, Grand Isle, Grand Isle County, Vermont. [4]
