Biography

Deliverance was born in 1765. He is the son of Ebenezer Brown and Susannah Bradford. He passed away in 1844.^{[1] [2]}

He married Mary Hyde on 23 October 1791 at Canterbury, Connecticut.^[3] They were the parents of ten children: Lucius, Betsy, Isaac, Harriet, Samuel, Harvey, Mary Ann, Lucretia, Emily and Ebenezer.

Deliverance was a farmer. The family moved from Canterbury and first settled at Tunbridge, Vermont and lived there until about 1817. From there, the family moved to Chagrin, Cuyahoga, Ohio.

Birth of Ebenezer and Emily as in family Bible is Sept. 13, instead of Sept. 22.

About 1816, Deliverance Brown, wife and family, moved to Willoughby, O.

After Deliverance Brown's death, his wife, Mary (Hyde) Brown, made her home with her daughter, Emily (Brown) Babcock, at Waupun, Wis.
