Francis Kenneth Stewart Browne was born in 1885 in New Zealand. He was the son of Stewart Browne and his wife Laura Rich.

He saw military service as a Private soldier in the Otago Regiment during WW1.

He passed away on 11 May 1966 in Cambridge, Waikato, New Zealand.
