Frank was born in 1870 in Walsall Wood, Staffordshire to George and Ann Brownsword. He came to the USA in 1891. There he married Sarah Chatterfield in 1896. They had a single child:
Gertrude Mary Brownsword (b-1899) married Fuehring
Frank died in 1951 in Akron.
