Biography
Clara (Bruce) Guy is a part of US Black heritage.
Clara was born in 1904. She was the daughter of Roscoe Bruce and Clara Burrill.
In 1920 she was living with her parents and siblings in Washington, DC.[1]
She married Barrington Guy in 1922 in Rockville, Maryland. They divorced in 1931 after 9 years of marriage.[2] The divorce decree stated they had no children, but Clara had a possible son Barrington living with her in 1930 in Manhattan, New York. She and her son were living with her parents.[3]
In 1940 Clara and two possible sons were living with Clara's aunt Mary Burrill in Washington, D.C.[4]
She passed away in 1988.[5]
