Charles was born about 1753 in Frederick, Maryland. Charles married Ann Gray on 4 December 1782 in North Carolina.[1]
Named in his grandfather's (James Wilson PERRY's) will which was probated in Frederick Co., MD, 18 Jan. 1771.
Named in his grandmother's (Rebecca Harris Perry's) will (prob. 8 May 1772 & recorded in Liber A-1 at folio 421, Frederick Co., MD) - received the negro boy, Daniel, & 20 pounds.
In 1794, he was living in household #17 in Warren Co., Georgia. (Warren Co. was created in 1793 from Columbia, Richmond, & Wilkes counties.) By 1797, he had bought the land in SC where he built the 3rd dwelling house in the "Fork" between the Seneca & Tugaloo Rivers.
Charles died in 1843 and was buried in Harrisburg Plantation Cemetery, Pendleton, Anderson County, South Carolina, United States.[2]
