Peter was born in 1826. He was the son of Peter Bruch and Mary Dell. He passed away in 1911.

From Find A Grave entry: "Died at age 85. Peter was a PVT. (Private) with Company G 178th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers Infantry in the United States Army during the American Civil War 1861-1865. Dates of service: October 21, 1862 to July 31, 1863. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.
