Lydia Bryenton was born on March 19, 1853 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.[1]
Lydia married Robert William Prowse on April 19, 1877 at the home of his father.[2]They had (at least) 7 children. In 1881, Robert, Lydia and their two eldest children were living in Lot 33, where Robert was farming.[3]
In September 1883, Robert, Lydia and their first three children left Prince Edward Island to settle in Oregon, along with Robert's brother Benjamin.[4] Whereas Benjamin ultimately returned to Prince Edward Island, Robert and his family went to Victoria, British Columbia where their fourth child was born.[5] They also lived in New Westminster[6] and then settled in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
Lydia died on November 1, 1943 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 90.[1]
