Anna Maria and her twin sister Maria Lovisa were born in 1848[1] as the ninth and tenth children, and fourth and fifth daughters, of Per Adolph Bräcke and Cathrina Charlotta Krook in Riddersholm, Rådmansö parish,[2] although the family seems to have moved to Nr 308 of the 1st Quarter, Gävle, in 1850[3][4][5][6][7][8] (they didn't officially register the move until 1851 -- in the Rådmansö household examination record they are noted as moving away in 1850, with the note "left without notice / took out notice Feb 22 1851", and in Gävle they are noted as arriving on April 17 1851 -- but the twins' brother Knut Bernhard was born in Gävle already in November 1850[9]).
