Celia Ellen Buchanan was born in March 4, 1883[1] in Mitchell County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of J. L. Buchanan[2] and his first wife Nancy Jane Hicks.[1]
Celia married Moses Tipton.[1] They had numerous children.[3][4]
Celia died on May 24, 1956 in Erwin and was supposed to be buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Erwin (Unicoi County), Tennessee.[1]
