Biography

Valentine Buchecker was born in 1700 in Armsheim, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He married Anna Maria Sherey in 1730 in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They had five children in 13 years. He died on March 30, 1763, in Upper Saucon, Pennsylvania, at the age of 63.

He arrived in Philadelphia on the TWO BROTHERS on 13 Oct 1747.

The surname Buchecker means beechnut. He owned a plantation and 2 tracts of land amounting to 181 acres in Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. In 1760 he sold land to his son, Phillip Buchecker and Anna Maria were married before 1730 at near Arnsheim, Pfaltz, Germany.
