Barend Buijs (1733)

Biography

Barend Buijs was baptised on 4 October 1733 in Utrecht, Nederland. He was the son of Paulus Buijs and Marrigje Boelhouwer. ^[1]

He married Lena de Lange somewhere before 1756, possibly in Hilversum where their first (known) child was born. They had children; Catharina ^[2], Paulus ^[3], Maria ^[4], Paulus ^[5], Barend ^[6], Berend ^[7], Dirk ^[8] and Christiaan. ^[9]

In 1756 they resided in Hilversum.^[2]

In 1758 and 1760 they resided in the Zakkendragerssteeg in Utrecht. ^{[3] [4]} In 1762 and 1764 they resided in the Vosse Steegie near the Plompetoren in Utrecht. ^{[5] [6] [7]} These seems to be the same residences as the parents of Barend.

In 1767 they resided in the Maria straat in Utrecht.^[8]

In 1769 they had moved to Maarssen. ^[9]
