Catharina Buijs (1756 - 1820)

Biography

Catharina/Trijntje Buijs was baptised on 29 Februari 1756 in Hilversum, Noord-Holland. She was the daughter of Barend Buijs and Lena de Lange ^[1]

At the age of 23 she married Wijma Ruarus on 16 May 1779 in Breukelen, Utrecht ^[2]. They had children; Barbera Ruarus ^[3], Barend Ruarus ^[4], David Ruarus ^[5], Jacob Ruarus ^[6], Dirk Ruarus ^[7], Helena Ruarus ^[8], Maria Ruarus ^[9], Jacoba Ruarus ^[10] and Elsje Ruarus ^[11]

She died on 18 April 1820 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland at the age of 63 ^[12]
