Biography
On 12/19/1865, Nancy married James Edwin Jones (1844-1932) in Person Co., NC.
After the birth of their first child in 1866, Mr. & Mrs. Jones moved to Texas where they had seven additional children.
Nannie was college educated. She was a teacher in a private school which was founded by her father, Robert D. Bumpass, and some of his neighbors immediately after the war.
