Biography

Samuel Bunn was an early pioneer in Ohio.

Samuel Bunn was born in 1783 in the son of Peter Bunn and Mary Rogers. He married Elizabeth Nelson in January 1819. [1] He died on August 15, 1865 in Jackson, Ohio.[2][3] Together they had 10 children:

  1. Elizabeth Bunn
  2. Peter Bunn
  3. Jonathan Bunn
  4. Henry Bunn
  5. Mary Bunn
  6. Harmon Bunn
  7. Eliza Bunn
  • "... Samuel [Bunn], was a native of Maryland [?] but reared in Greenbrier County. Virginia, coming to Ohio in 1800, he married Elizabeth Nelson, 5 August 1820 [?] a native of Kentucky who came to Gallia County, Ohio at 7 years and to Jackson County [Ohio] in 1812, Samuel died in 1865, age 82....""History of Lower Scioto Valley"
