This grandmother I know a bit about, but not a whole lot as I only remember her for a few years. But the following I do know as personal experiences with her. I'm pretty sure she did not know her father. Her daughter Agnes spent many years moving to be closer to her. Michigan, then Florida, then finally to texas. As of Dec 1981 she was living outside of a rural town, Kerens, Texas with her then husband Andy Watson. Her youngest daughter, Nancy was living with them at the time as she was under 18. Beverly and Andy helped raise all of Nancy's kids for many years. She was under 5'1", heavyset, dark curly hair. I personally did not have any good experiences with this grandparent, from the first time I remember meeting her in 1981 until she passed away, my mother was not her favorite child. She did cook well though. And great homemade jelly's. The only time I remember her ever treating me or my siblings well was when I was pregnant (very young parent) and at the time she thought I would give her custody of my child, which once she figured out I wasn't she again treated me as she had been previously. Though, My younger cousin's apparently had a good relationship with her. Her health began failing prior to 1991, and left her husband a few years before his death and moved with one of her other daughter's, I don't remember which one but most likely Nancy. The last few years of her life were spent in a nursing home, that I'm aware of, and somehow she ended up with a bladder infection, which had been allowed to get to the point that when she was finally taken to a hospital, when the staff cathed her, the urine obtained was very infected and it became systemic and she died a short time later. To my knowledge, she had been in ICU of the hospital and when she passed she was alone. Most of her children were in the waiting room at the time. Her daughter Agnes was enroute when she passed away, and due to her vehicle breaking down was unable to make it to her deathbed or funeral.
