[Will of David Burdick: [Washington County, NY. Wills vol U, p 299 FHL film #513873] "...Third I give and bequeath to Jennie Burdick, infant daughter of my son Albert a legacie of Five Hundred dollars to be paid within one year after the demise of my wife if my executor shall deem it safe and prudent to pay it to said infant Jennie. If said Executor shall decide it to be imprudent to pay the said legacie over to the said Jennie then he shall invest the same in a safe investment upon good real estate at the rate of six percent until the said infant shall become of age, when it shall be paid her And I hereby make the payment of this legacy a charge upon my real estate... ...In witness whereof I have hereunto set my had this 12th day of December 1881 David Burdick"
