William B. Burk^[1] was born on November 15, 1863, in Louisa, Kentucky, the child of James Burke and Mary York^[2]. He married Julia Ott Fitzpatrick on June 29, 1889, in Lawrence, Kentucky. He died on April 16, 1939^[3] in Potter, Lawrence County, Kentucky.
