James Francis Burke was born in Petroleum Center, Pa., in 1867.Mr. Burke married, in 1895, Josephine Birch Scott of Detroit, Mich. They are the parents of a son, James Scott Burke, who is attending Princeton University; and a daughter, Josephine Frances Burke. The Burkes reside in Devonshire place, Pittsburgh, and have a summer home at Beaumaris, Canada, on the Moskoka Lakes.
