Bobbye La Verne Burton was born on 7 Aug 1947 in Crockett, Houston County, Texas, United States, daughter of John Henry Burton (1910–1996) and Vernell Beasley (1928–1986).^[1]

She married Unknown Jefferson.

She later married Austin G Montgomery on 20 February 1979 in Houston County, Texas, United States.^[2]

Bobbye died on 15 Jun 2019 in Houston County, aged 71 and is buried in Jasper Cemetery, Crockett, Texas.^{[3] [4]}
