Johnnie Jewel was born in 1910. In the 1920 Pontotoc County, MS Census, she is found living in the household with her mother, California Busby. Johnnie Jewel Busby married Henry Clark in Pontotoc County, Mississippi in 1928. To this family was born 4 children, Charlie Wayne, Wilma Pearl, Billy Van, and Patsy Jean... She passed away in 1997 in Oxford Lafayette County Hospital ,Oxford, MS , and is buried beside her husband, Henry in Sarepta Cemetery, located in Calhoun County, MS.
