Henry H Bush was born on August 17, 1860 in Calhoun, Illinois, United States, son of George William Bush (1825–1897) and Mary Dufore (1839–1919).

In the 1870 census William (age 10) was in Point Election Precinct, Calhoun, Illinois, United States.^[1]

In 1880, Henry (19) was living in household of William Bush (54) in Point Precinct, Calhoun with his parents, William (54) and Lisabeth (41); his siblings, Allen (23), Lavine (13), Mary (11), and Eddy (9); and Wille Bush (6), and Charles Bush (4). ^[2]

In 1900, Henry (39) was living in Point Precinct, Calhoun with his wife, Anna (38); their children, George (15), William (13), Mary (11), Charles (9), Theresa (6), and Fred (2); and August Piper (43, boarder). ^[3]

In 1910, Henry (49) was living in Point Precinct, Calhoun with his wife, Anna K (48); and their children, Treacy E (15), and John F (12). ^[4]
