Biography
Levi was born in 1867 to Levi and Atalia (Van Wye) Bush in Williams Co., Ohio. His father fought in the Civil War. Levi Sr was discharged on 30 Nov 1866 and died seven months later on June 1, 1867. Levi Sr. was buried on June 4, 1867. Levi, Jr. was born the day after his father was buried. This left Attalia with three children from five year old Phillip to a newborn.[1]

By 1880, Levi's mother had married (2) Benjamin F. Janes. They were living in Eureka Township, Adair, Iowa.[2] Levi Jr married Alma Breithaupt on 1 Jan 1893 in Furnas, Nebraska.[3] In 1900, they were living with Alma's younger brother. They had one child: Lloyd.[4][5][6] Levi died in 1926.[7]
