Cynthia was born Septermber 15, 1946 in Lowell, Massachusetts.[1]
She married Russell Lee Throop in Los Angeles, California on October 17, 1964 when she was 18 and he was 21 years old.[2] Together they had one son, Edward "Eddie" Merle Throop, and one daughter[3] They divorced in Los Angeles, California on December 1967 after three years of marriage, she was 21 years old.[4]
Cynthia then married her second husband in Fallon, Nevada on February 18, 1968 when she was 21 years old.[5] She gave birth to a daughter in Solano, California when she was 22 years old.[6] The date and place of her divorce of her second husband is unknown.[7]
She married her third husband in Reno, Nevada on November 26, 1970 when she was 24 years old.[8] Together, they had a son born in Solano, California.[9]The exact date of her divorce from her third husband is unknown.
Her eldest son, Edward "Eddie" Merle Throop died in August, 1973 in Kingston, New Hampshire.[10]
Cynthia's father, William Arthur Bushong Sr., passed away on May 17, 1975 in Vallejo, California.
She married her fourth husband in Solano, California on December 2, 1978 when she was 32 years old.[11]
She moved to Roswell, New Mexico in 1992.[12]
Cynthia divorced her fourth husband in Chaves, New Mexico on October 23, 1995 after 16 years of marriage.[13] She was 49 years old. Their divorce was recorded as having been completed in Randolph, North Carolina on February 3, 2004 after 25 years of marriage when she was 57 years old.[14]
Her mother Helen Arline (Hall) Bushong died on September 11, 2006 in Norway, Maine.[15]
She still resided in Roswell, New Mexico in 2008 and had moved to South Paris, Maine by 2019. She bought a home with her granddaughter in Arkansas in 2021. By 2022 she was moving between homes of various family members in New Mexico and Texas.[16]
Cynthia passed away on January 29, 2024 while living near one of her daughters in Lubbock, Texas.[17] She was creamated.[18]
Before having passed away, she was very happy to learn of her rich ancestry through genealogy. She is the 4th Great-Granddaughter of a colored patriot with over 8 years of service during the American Revolution, Jude Hall, and his wife Rhoda (Paul) Hall. She is also a descendant of the Mi'kmaq Native American tribe through her Acadian ancestor Marie Thérèse Mi'kmaq and her husband Claude Petitpas[19] she and her family have been added to the Mi'kmaq tribal member only family tree in 2023. She was able to be at peace knowing that her familial legends proved to be true.
