Sylvia Jane Buttram was born about 1802 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Cornelius Buttram and Nancy Woodruff. She was the 2nd child of 11 children. She migrated with her parents from North Carolina to Wayne Co., Kentucky, then on to Johnson Co., Indiana
She married Miles Keeton on April 9, 1818, in Wayne Co., Kentucky at the age of 16. [1] They had 9 children.
They migrated on to Cass, Missouri.
She passed away after 1829 in about 1847 in Missouri.. [2]
