Elgin Cade is a part of US Black heritage.

Elgin Cade was a boy who lived in Marengo Co, AL, in 1853. He was a slave and lived at the The Morgan Plantation. When Adolphus S. Cade died in 1853 he was listed on the probate inventory.[1]

There was a division of slaves in Dec 1856 and Elgin was in the lot sent to Emma L. Cade, the daughter of Adolphus Cade.[2]
