Name and dates from the Cairnes pedigree chart received from Ruth Watson. It says: of Parsonstown or Cecil. Co. Tyrone. MP for Augher in 1639. d about 1680. Also two daughters who married Mr. Henderson and Mr. Boyd.

From Cairnes Book by HCLawlor: John is eldest son and m Jane, dau of James Miller. 3 sons alive in 1639 included John. He was old enough in 1633 to acquire a lease so had to be born bef 1612. And to be a MP by 1639 he could easily have been born before that date. Purchased in 1639 w/his brothers the townland and manor of Killyfaddy.
