Biography

In the 1910 Willsboro census, Gardner and wife Sarah E were living with their children Ralph, Ethelyne, Doris, Seth, Lawrence, Pauline, Florence, Gilbert and Chester, and with his widowed father Gilbert ^[1] According to the 1930 census, Gardner was born about 1868 in New York, and his parents were both born there also. His wife was known as Sadie E and they married about 1891. He was a farmer in Willsboro, New York, with son Lawrence, daughter-in-law Calla E and son Randall^[2] He was the son of Gilbert Calkins and Julia Unknown.

He passed away about 1951 and is buried in Gilliland Cemetery with Wife Sarah E and children Raymond G and Florence C.^[3]
