Biography

Katherine Cameron was born in 1890. She was the daughter of Samuel Cameron and Magdalena Hillenbrand. She attended school through the 7th grade. Katherine married Harry H. Wessel in 1907. Harry was a stone mason. They had a daughter, Magdalen. Harry died of Typhoid Fever on 11 Nov 1923. At the time of his death Katherine and Magdalen were living on 435 Greentree Ave. in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA.

Katherine remarried in Pittsburgh to Thomas W. Doyle on 28 Jul 1947. Mr. Doyle passed away in 1951. After his death, Katherine used the last name of her first husband again. Katherine died in Pittsburgh of cancer of the esophagus on 27 Feb 1959. She is buried in Saint Boniface Cemetery in Ross Twp., Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
