Biography

Domenica Campagna, daughter of the late Pietro Campagna and the living Giovanna Sangiorgi, marries Biagio lo Cicero (“lo Ciciro”; this name sometimes appears as “Cicirello”), son of the late Bernardo lo Cicero and Rosa Liggio, on 8 June 1768. ^[1]

Biagio and Domenica have at least two children, Rosa (c. 1769) and Vincenza (c. 1787).

Rosa marries at least twice, first to Francesco Grizzaffi, on 18 October 1789. This record calls Rosa lo Ciciro.^[2]

Rosa remarries to Vincenzo Paternostro on 15 January 1791. Rosa's parents are still living. This record gives the family surname as "Cicirello."^[3]

Vincenza marries Gaetano lo Bue on 26 July 1807.^[4]

Death

Domenica dies at the reported age of 100 in July 1834 after receiving last rites [this age is likely incorrect as it puts her birth year around 1734, which is 7 years before her parents' marriage; she is likely in her late 80s-90s]. She is predeceased by her late husband, Biagio lo Cicero, and her parents, Pietro Campagna and Giovanna Pomara.^[5]
