George Campbell was born in 1839 in Ontario Canada and married Phoebe McWain and they had a son David Campbell in 1870. Regattably about two years later he was murdered by his wife on the 14th July 1871and subsequently buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Blanshard Township, perth County in Ontario.
