Biography

Robert Campbell was born in about 1848 in Lowden Parish, Ayrshire, Scotland. His parents were John and Annie Campbell. [1]

Robert emigrated to the United States in about 1861. [2]

Robert Campbell married Annie Jane Brownrigg in Arlington, Wisconsin on January 20 1869. [3][4] Their children were;

In 1880 he was in Neillsville, Clark, Wisconsin. [5]

In 1900 he was in Neilsville, Clark, Wisconsin. [6]

Robert died in Wisconsin in 1909. [7]

With this line tracing to Ayrshire i would like to invite any male descendants do do a Y-Dna test at FTDNA and join the Campbell project there. There were at least 22 Campbell families in Ayrshire and we need these samples to begin to try to ID and sort the different families out if we can.
