Hugh Morton Campbell was the son of Robert and Anna. His middle name was his paternal grandmother's maiden name, which he shared with his father.

Research Notes

Hugh's son was called Donald Ponsonby Campbell[6]. Ponsonby was the maiden name of Hugh's maternal grandmother.
