Biography
Anna Fern Campbell was born on June 5, 1888 in Allen Township, Darke County, Ohio. She was the oldest of four children born to John K Campbell and Hulda Marie Mosey.
On July 2,1927, she married Norman Wright Swartwout in Oakland County, Michigan.
Fern was the official biographer for her aunt, Annie Oakley, for whom she was named. Her mother Hulda Marie Mosey was Annie's sister.
Norman Swartwout died on March 19, 1961 in Greenville, Ohio.
Fern died on November 22, 1962 in Columbus Ohio.
They are both buried in Greenville Union Cemetery in Greenville, Ohio.
